What’s the story behind your food photography passion? I LOVE TO COOK, PICTURES CAME NATURALLY WITH MY DAY JOB AS A FASHION PHOTOGRAPHER AND LOVE FOR FOOD.
Are you also a chef? The recipes also seem quite foodie!!! THANKS! I AM CHEF JUST FOR MY FRIENDS, PRETTY OFTEN DO FEASTS FOR 5-10 PEOPLE. I WAS A CATER FOR A YEAR. NOW I STICK TO MY DAILY JOB, BUT WHO KNOWS….HOPE TO DO SOME SUPPER CLUBS AT SOME POINT.
What camera do you use for your hobby? CANON 5D, MAMIYA 7, CONTAX 4G AND YES I SOMETIMES USE AN IPHONE FOR FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY
Is there anything I wouldn’t eat/cook? GENERALLY I WOULD TRY ANYTHING APART FROM DISHES WHICH BRING POINTLESS SUFFERING TO ANIMALS – I DON’T THINK I WOULD GO FOR FAMOUS MONKEY BRAIN. I DID HAD THE MOVING OCTOPUS IN KOREA THOUGH, CRICKETS IN MEXICO, CHICKEN FEET…..I AM A HUGE SUPPORTER OF EATING FROM NOSE TO TAIL AND USING LOCAL SEASONAL INGREDIENTS AS FAR AS IT’S POSSIBLE.
What is your process for recipes? IT ALL DEPENDS. I LOVE GOING TO FARMERS MARKET GETTING SEASONAL PRODUCTS AND COOKING FROM MY HEAD, OTHER TIMES I WOULD WANT TO RECREATE CERTAIN DISH FROM MY TRAVELS AND THEN I NEED TO BE MORE PRECISE. RESEARCH RECIPE AND BUY ALL WEIRD STUFF I MIGHT NEED. I DO LIKE FREEDOM IN COOKING , THATS WHY CAKES ARE NOT EXACTLY MY THING.
How do you incorporate your own sense of style into your photography? I TRY TO KEEP THINGS SIMPLE AND LET THE FOOD SPEAK FOR IT’S SELF. I ALWAYS RESPECT THE PRODUCT.
How has lockdown affected your hobby? I COOKED A LOT ESPECIALLY THINGS THAT ARE MORE TIME CONSUMING, FRESH PASTA, BREAD, FERMENTED FOODS, WONTONS…. BEAN READING A LOT ABOUT ITALIAN FOOD, FINDING NEW FLAVORS AND PRODUCTS. I AM FAT NOW!
Strangest assignment/thing you have taken photos of? HAMSTER! SINCE THAT SHOOT I REALLY DISLIKE THEM.
What do you think that the next trend in food photography will be? I WISH I KNEW;)

Which country’s cuisine do you love to eat the most and why? HARD ONE. I TOTALLY LOVE ITALIAN BUT CAN’T LIVE WITH OUT ASIAN TOO. ESPECIALLY JAPANESE, KOREAN, VIETNAMESE, THAI….
